Six Word Saturday
Merry Christmas!
Merry Christmas!
I had a go at making some lip balm last week with my friend, we did some experimenting with texture and flavours. This week we are going to make enough to fill a few tins (these each have a teeny bit inside), just got to decide on flavour combos! Fun Fun. Got a #SixWordSaturday? Do share in comments or post on Instagram. Have a wonderful weekend!
Today we found some fossils, lots of crinoids (only the stems but still super cool) and shells, the sun was out and the water was clear! #sixwordSaturday on Instagram with @catseatdogsmakes. Happy Weekend x
Do you have a baking list for Christmas? It is forecast to rain tomorrow, so I plan to get a start on the Christmas cake and mincemeat for mince pies. Happy weekend!
We made our first pumpkin pie of the year today, not the last I am sure. Got a Six Word Saturday? Share on Instagram or in the comments. I am @catseatdogsmakes on Instagram, come and find me! Hope you are having a lovely weekend, it is forecast snow here, but none has appeared yet!
I have been making some lavender bags today with the flowers I have picked and dried from my garden. The fabric I used is vintage nylon ribbon which is a lovely pale pink and complements the colour of the lavender really nicely. Do you have a Six Word Saturday? Do share.
I am starting ‘Six Word Saturday’ on my blog again. Mainly because I miss doing it and also to help me fully participate in National Blog Post Month. I did NaBloPoMo last year and I really felt like I had achieved something by the end of it. This month will consist of the regular posts I do, like ‘Through The Lens Thursday’ and ‘Weekly Photos’ as well as more ‘What I am Wearing’ and CatsEatDogs jewelry posts. I wonder what else I will be writing about? I think I will see how the month takes me and maybe we can have lots of chats in the comments! In case you are wondering, the tentacle is part of a Christmas present for my cousin’s 13 year old son! Have you started Christmas shopping yet? I like to get an early start as I have to mail lots abroad and it can take a while to get there. All of the Six Word Saturday posts will go on Instagram too, so come and join in if …
