Six Word Saturday

First yard sale of the year this morning, we got the giant car and some beads to hack up, wash and recycle. This amazing vintage suitcase was literally sitting on the verge and apparently had been there for a week, we checked there was nothing weird inside and claimed it as our own. After all we are supposed to get some exciting weather with snow and ice and rain and snow and ice, so, it would get ruined if it was left outside. Six Word Saturday

I am aware that it is February and still winter, but I keep seeing Instagrams of flowers and signs of Spring and I am feeling the need for some Springtime! I know, I know, I will be complaining that I am too hot in about 6 months. Got a Six Word Saturday? Share in the comments or pop it on Instagram.

I picked up the photos today which I took on my ‘Diana F’ camera in December at the Missouri Botanical Gardens last year.  I was pretty happy with them, nice big square prints and even the ones I messed about with multiple exposures turned out.  Yay! I enjoyed revisiting the feeling of taking in a film and collecting the photos not knowing exactly what they will look like.  Just like the old days of taking pictures and not seeing them until a few days or weeks later. Can’t wait to take more!  If you have a Six Word Saturday, share in the comments or put it on a photo in Instagram and hashtag #sixwordsaturday. Happy Weekend!

What did you do today? I have been inside with a flu ridden child, but he is getting better, so I tried to give myself a little vitamin boost with this smoothie which was surprisingly tasty! To make it I put a banana, a handful of baby spinach, some blueberries, a drizzle of honey and splash of water into a jug and whizzed it all up. I don’t have a blender, so I used an immersion blender which worked fine.
