In the Next Six Months..

Why I Love Being an Artist..

Unfinished Stripes.

Books Which Have My Heart.
Lists lists lists! Most of these pages did not turn out at all how I had envisioned. I had no idea where my crazy eyed skull was going and I really didn’t like the ‘Six Months’ base page until I added the yellow and black.
It just goes to show, the best thing about art journaling is where you end up and the fun and mess you can create along the way.

Happy Thursday x
I love these pages Clare, and esp the stamped wording. The patterns you’ve drawn on the yellow and skull pages really make them personal, almost like writing through drawing if that makes sense? I wanna go make some pages now!
Thanks Rebecca! I hope you made some journal pages. I am no good at writing on pages, but this season is making me, so I am glad.
I like the stamped pages too! The yellow is especially appealing.
Thanks Carolyn, I like the yellow too. Funny thing, I made that background and completely messed it up so I pulled out the yellow and it changed it totally.
Sometimes it can be hard to get what you imagine onto the artwork the way you think it should ‘be’. Artists’ can be very hard on themselves and judge their own work the hardest… I think it must have been fun to create! I love the colour and shades you used…
Very true. I did have a good time making these pages.
I like all of these – especially the colors/patterns in the first one. Thanks for sharing!
Thanks Kelli. I like that page too, even though I didn’t to start with!
