1. Walking through the woods, looking at the ground. 2. I found a wasp’s nest, no wasps though. 3. The light in the woods was pretty this week. 4. Watches for days. 5. Estate sale this weekend, found some treasure but not these chairs! I like how the seats are all different colours. Happy Monday x

1. Fabulous texture and colour on a fire hydrant. 2. This guy was lost in the park, sitting on the bridge waiting for his owner to return. 3. Green tiles on the outside of a building in Dutchtown, St Louis, MO. 4. This used to be the Brentwood Historical Society building, it is certainly history now. Happy Monday x

I keep finding painted rocks in the park, here is one I spotted this week. Making penguin snowglobes and taking photos which would never happen, don’t worry about the penguin, they don’t share the same land as polar bears! The silver tree at the St Louis Art Museum is one of my favorites. Very red trees at Forest Park. The Grand Basin at Forest Park. Happy Monday x

1. I had a great time this week painting some background papers for future use! 2. Chrysanthemums in the park. 3. The kids craft at the library this month was making masks and here is a selection of the mask making bits and bobs. 4. A trip to Elephant Rocks state parks this weekend under blue skies. 5. The ruins of the engine shed at Elephant Rocks. 6. The top of one of the ‘elephants’. 7. Two rocks. 8.& 9. The pool at Elephant Rocks with the trees just starting to turn into Autumn colours. 1. One of the first pages in my new art journal. Just the beginning, or is it done? We shall see if I add any more to it. I think I will. 2. I found a fabulous black acorn in the woods, there are hundreds of acorns on the woodland floor but only this black one. 3. Teeny tiny white mushrooms growing precariously on a thin twig. 4. A dead tree against a white wall, I like the shapes! 5. We went digging in the woods this weekend and found a couple of marbles (hurrah!) and half a bowl. Happy Monday x SaveSave

1. Shadow of one of the ferns I used to make prints with this week. 2. A mini collection of bits and bobs, including matchboxes, gummed stickers and vintage index cards. 3. Getting ready to photo the prints for a blog post, blu tac and camera at the ready! 4. A circle print on one of the aforementioned index cards. 5. We went for a hike this weekend at Rockwoods Reservation and enjoyed the cooler weather. 6. Sign on the trail. 7. Looking up. 8. Lots of steps! Happy Monday x
